Bjelovar Fair Ltd. and the Coordination of Bee-Keepers Associations of the County Bjelovarsko-bilogorska, together with Croatian Bee-Keepers Association and Croatian Livestock Selection Centre organized the 1st Bee-Keeping Fair on the 12th and 13th February 2005, which raised unexpectedly great interest.
During the Fair, there were more than 5,000 visitors, 3,000 of whom were bee-keepers from all parts of the Republic of Croatia, with the contributions from ca. 50 exhibitors from almost all the counties, as well as the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the professional part, there were about 15 speeches of the most eminent bee-keeping experts from Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia and the USA. Bee-keeping Fair is held at the Fairground Gudovac in three pavilions and in the outdoor area. The fair showrooms will include Pavilion 1 and the outdoor area, Equipment Fair will be held in Pavilion 2, while conferences will be situated in Pavilion 4 (auction hall) and the large and small hall (Pavilion 1).
